By continuously recirculating air in the room the Zephyr ceiling fan creates a cooling effect during summer that can be compared to an air conditioning system. The motion direction of the blades can be reversed during heating periods, which is a cost-saving factor: Inside the room warm air will rise towards the ceiling, but the fan rotation pushes the heat down again. This leads to an even distribution and recirculation of warm air that results in saved costs for heating. However, you should pay attention to the fan speed during winter mode, it is recommended to have fan set to the lowest or medium speed to prevent draught. The Zephyr ceiling is most efficient in spaces and rooms with a surface area of max. 20 m² or less.
